Some are calling mental health struggles the next pandemic…

You don’t have to look far to see why. In 2019, 1 in 3 teens had experienced persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness (a 40% increase in the last ten years) (1).  In less than a decade, reported attempted suicides and suicidal thoughts of teens has doubled (2).  And the JED Foundation states that death by suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among young adults today (3).  In the year 2021, the US Surgeon General even issued an urgent public health advisory regarding mental health (4).

If you or someone you love have been swimming in the rough seas of mental illness; you are not alone.

Regular yoga practice will naturally augment and support the wonderful resources you’re already utilizing with your teen. For example, it’s been proven that just one 60min yoga class balances cortisol levels and boosts serotonin levels which means every time your teen practices with Isha Warriors they are able to handle their stress better and feel happier.

Depression and anxiety may manifest in very different ways, yet both are helped by yoga equally. Don’t wait another minute to bring more peace into your life and of those you love!
