Episode 66: Anger. The Least Understood Emotion.

Anger is a tricky and often misunderstood emotion. It gets a bad rep and I would say as I look back over my life it is the emotion that I have felt the most regret and self judgement when it comes to how I've handled my anger…always in the past when I have gotten angry and then calmed down I immediately go into shame and criticism.
"What kind of horrible mom am I, how come I keep falling short and making the same mistakes again and again…why do I let things get on my nerves…I know better, why can’t I do better? I don’t deserve forgiveness…and on and on.." Have you ever felt that way, too?

I want to share with you that you do not have to hate yourself for feeling anger or feel ashamed for feeling this way…there is another path we can take that will help us USE THIS EXTREMELY POWERFUL INTENSE ENERGY AS A TOOL for understanding your needs very clearly and creating change that can bring more peace and joy into your life!

Using anger as a tool will help you stop using it as a weapon that hurts and harms both emotionally and physically.

  1. Today, I’ll talk about why it is essential for all of us to understand ANGER better.

  2. What anger feels like so we can be more aware of when we are getting angry.

  3. What our anger could be trying to teach us.

  4. Strategies to process our anger.

  5. Ways to prevent us from letting this powerful emotion destroy your relationships and sever meaningful connections in your life.
