Jim Rohn once said, “Either you run the day or the day runs you.” Every day you start your morning intentionally-you are choosing how you want your day to run.

Robin S. Sharma once said, “Own Your morning. Elevate your life.”

Whether you live alone, with a room mate, have young kids or a house full of people. I am going to give you 6 tips everyone can use to create a morning routine that will help you own your morning and own your day.

There are so many research studies done that show having a morning routine brings benefits to thriving in life…benefits like increasing your productivity, helping boost your energy, improving your relationships and combating forgetfulness. You do not have to be a quote “morning person” to have a morning routine. Nor does your routine have to look like anyone else’s.  In fact, tip one is..

1. TAILOR FIT YOUR MORNING ROUTINE TO FIT YOUR NEEDS.

  • What is important to me?

  • What do I want the most?

  • What helps me feel energized in the morning?

  • What brings a  smile to my face?

2.  BE REALISTIC.

3. START THE NIGHT BEFORE & SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS.

4. FIND A WAY TO WAKE YOURSELF GENTLY & GET OUT OF BED WITHIN 5 SECONDS.

5. DON’T DIVE INTO ELECTRONICS FIRST THING or BE REALLY PICKY OF WHAT YOU DIGEST!

6. MAKE YOUR BED.

Toni Morrison said, “Wake up. Show Up. Be Present. Give it everything you got.”

So whatever routine rocks your world in the A.M.  do it with everything you've got!
