Episode 8: Observe Don’t Absorb

Do you find that you internalize the pain of others?

Do you feel responsible to fill the void other's feel in their lives or try to fix their problems or "make them happy"?

Have you ever found yourself mirroring someone's mood and emotions; reacting without much thought instead of responding in a way that reflects your highest self?

Bruce Lee once said, “You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True power is sitting back and observing everything with logic. If words control you that means everyone can control you. Breathe and allow things to pass.”

Observe don't absorb.

This mantra may be the most powerful three word you will want to incorporate into your life this year.

Learn how we can be compassionate without internalizing, listen without judgment and stay in a place of power so we can truly help those in need instead of getting sucked into the undertow.
