So we have picked our word for the year, yes?!
It is a word that feels light and hopeful, empowering and exciting, right?!
Some of the words people have shared with me are Peace, Happiness, Health, Wealth, Gratitude, Confidence, one teen I was teaching recently picked the word Better another Improve.
So we say we want more peace and health, we say improvement is what we want…but we reach for the opposite.
Our greatest gift as human beings is free will-the ability to act at one's own discretion. The ability to choose for ourselves what we watch, what we read, what we listen to, what we eat etc. Now this podcast could digress here and talk about people who don’t enjoy these certain inalienable rights. This just isn’t the platform space that could do this debate justice today. So for the purposes of today, I hope those of you who are listening are endowed with the right to watch, read, listen to and eat what you choose.
And it is here I want you to put on your figurative science lab coat. Because from here on out we need to take a step back and look at ourselves and our habits with a lens of observation and unemotional attachment. Let go of judgement. Be totally honest without feeling like you need defend or rationalize, feel guilt or shame etc...

What do you choose to read? I am talking about books, blogs, news, magazines etc
What do you reach for for sustenance?

I said, " Understand deeply that what you think matters, what you do matters, what you say matters, what you watch matter, what you listen to matter, what you eat matters…life is an echo. What you send comes back. What you sow -you reap. What you give you get.
So choose what matter most to you and be intentional with how you live."
How do we keep the spark lit and fuel the fire of our intention seeing it through to manifestation?
1. Accept that it is going to feel uncomfortable and hard. And YOU CAN LEAN INTO THE DISCOMFORT AND DO HARD THINGS!!
2. Become best friends with discipline.
3. Be consistent and tenacious.
4. Reach for things and people who keep you accountable and support you in living your intention.
Reach for the the books, the TIKTOK and Youtube videos, the instagram posts, the movies, podcasts, the songs, the bands, TV shows, the screen time...etc etc that will support you in manifesting your intention.
